Free Season Launch October 2

Thanks to Mayor Jim Watson and dancers from The School of Dance who helped us celebrate the second season of the popular "On a Sunday Afternoon" series at our First Birthday Party Season Launch, on Sunday October 2 at 1:30 pm in the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans.

This free Culture Days event featured Mr. Watson reading a book while puppets act out the story, a dance piece based on a counting poem, previews of upcoming Rag & Bone shows, door prizes and of course, cupcakes.

Rumer Godden’s beautiful story is brought to life with toys, puppets, carols sung by local school choirs, and a real live girl.
